After formatting the message that you want to send, you can now send the message and the word you selected will appear as italicized.

Method 2. Using the Built-in Formatting Menu

Step 2.1. Open your Discord app

Open your Discord application. Make sure that you installed the latest version of the app.

Step 2.6 Select the Italics formatting

You have to select the Italics formatting on the menu.

Upon clicking on the formatting method, the text will automatically appear as italicized and the asterisks will automatically be put in place.

Step 2.7 Send the message

After formatting the message that you want to send, you can now send the message and the word you selected will appear as italicized.
